Website speed optimization for real visitors, not lab scores

Faster pages keep more visitors on your site and turn more of them into customers. We fix what slows your site down in the code, on WordPress, Shopify and Webflow, without breaking anything search engines rely on.

Faster scores, broken sites

A PageSpeed score is a lab test on a simulated phone. Google looks at field data from real visitors instead. The usual shortcuts raise the score and quietly break the things that earn traffic and revenue.

The shortcut

Delay every script

The score jumps, but forms, consent banners and analytics load late or not at all.

What we do

Decide script by script

We keep what the page needs early, defer what it doesn't, and remove what nobody uses.

The shortcut

Lazy load every image

The hero image waits for the rest of the page, which makes LCP worse, not better.

What we do

Prioritize what's seen first

The largest visible element loads first, correctly sized, and everything below the fold waits.

The shortcut

Strip unused CSS automatically

Templates nobody tested lose their styling, from checkout steps to rarely visited pages.

What we do

Clean up the source

We remove bloat in the theme and builder output, then test every template before release.

The shortcut

Stack optimization plugins

Caching, minifying and image plugins overlap, conflict, and serve stale or broken pages.

What we do

One clear setup

One caching layer, configured and documented, with canonicals, schema and redirects verified after every change.

What our website speed optimization covers

Each fix targets the metric it moves, so you know why a change is made and what it should improve.

LCP

Loading performance

Hero images, fonts, render blocking files and server response time, fixed so the main content appears fast.

INP

Responsiveness

Long JavaScript tasks, heavy page builders and event handlers that make taps and clicks feel slow.

CLS

Visual stability

Space reserved for images, embeds, ads and fonts so the page stops jumping while it loads.

Server

Hosting and caching

Time to first byte, page and object caching, and CDN setup, on hosting you control.

Third parties

Tags, apps and widgets

Chat widgets, tracking tags and apps audited for cost, with loading adjusted or the script removed.

Assets

Images and fonts

Modern formats, correct sizes, responsive images and font loading that doesn't block the page.

Website speed optimization for your platform

Every platform slows down in its own way, and the fixes that work on one can break another.

WordPress

Plugin load, page builder output, database queries, object caching and hosting. We cut what the site doesn't need and tune what it does, without swapping your stack.

Shopify

Apps injecting scripts, theme code, oversized images and collection pages. Shopify runs the hosting, so the work focuses on everything that loads in the browser.

Webflow

Interactions, custom code embeds, asset loading and third party scripts, fixed within what Webflow allows.

How website speed optimization runs

Measured before and after with field data, so the result shows up where it counts, not only in a lab score.

  1. Free technical review

We look at field data from real visitors and trace each slow metric to its cause on your templates.

  2. Plan by impact

Fixes are ordered by how many visitors they affect and how much they move, so the biggest wins ship first.

  3. Fix on staging

Changes are built and tested on staging, with canonicals, schema, rendering and tracking verified before release.

  4. Release and measure

Lab results are checked the same day. Field data updates over a rolling 28 days, so we track it until it settles.

  5. Keep it fast

On a monthly plan, every new change is checked for its effect on performance, so the site stays fast as it grows.

Website speed optimization questions

What to expect from the work, and what we won't promise.

How long until Core Web Vitals improve in Search Console?

Search Console reports field data from real visitors over a rolling 28 day window, so improvements show up gradually over about four weeks after release. We check lab results the same day and track the field data until it settles.

Will you just install a caching or optimization plugin?

No. Plugins that delay every script or strip CSS automatically often improve a lab score while breaking forms, tracking or layouts. We fix the causes in the code and keep a plugin only when it does one job well and we have tested what it changes.

Do you guarantee a PageSpeed score of 100?

No. The score is a lab test on a simulated device. We aim for passing Core Web Vitals in field data, because that is what real visitors experience and what Google uses.

Does site speed affect rankings?

Core Web Vitals are part of how Google evaluates page experience, but relevance and content still matter more. Performance rarely wins rankings on its own. It does affect conversions, and a slow or unstable page can hold otherwise strong content back.

Can you do Shopify speed optimization without rebuilding the store?

Usually, yes. Most Shopify performance problems come from apps injecting scripts, oversized images and heavy theme code, all of which can be fixed in the existing theme. Shopify controls the hosting, so the work focuses on what loads in the browser.

Is website speed optimization a one off project or ongoing?

Both. Every monthly plan monitors performance, and every change we ship is checked for its effect on it. A dedicated website speed optimization project is for when you want performance to be the only priority, with our full focus until Core Web Vitals pass. Many clients start with the project and keep the result on a plan.
