Website maintenance services that never cost you rankings
Updates, plugins, fixes and content changes handled every month by people who check what each one does to your search visibility before it ships.
For sites where downtime and drops both cost money
We provide website maintenance and support for businesses whose search visibility already produces leads and sales. Our web maintenance services go beyond updates and uptime, combining website support services with the technical work that keeps pages ranking. You work directly with the people doing the work, on a monthly retainer rather than by the hour.

Sites don't break. They drift
A plugin update changes how a template renders. A new page is published without a canonical. Someone tidies the navigation and half the internal links to your best category disappear. Each change is small, defensible and invisible on the day it ships.
Six months later the traffic is down and nobody can point at a cause, because there isn't one. There are fourteen of them, spread across half a year of perfectly reasonable updates that nobody evaluated against search visibility. That is what an unmaintained site actually looks like, and it is far more common than an outage.
- Month 1Plugin updatedEverything still looks fine on the homepage
- Month 2New landing page publishedNo canonical, and it competes with an existing page
- Month 3Navigation tidied upInternal links to the best category quietly removed
- Month 4Theme updatedProduct schema no longer renders
- Month 5New images addedUncompressed, and the largest one loads first
- Month 6Traffic is downAnd there is no single change to point at
Every one of these would have been caught before it shipped.

Every change gets one question first
Before anything is written, we ask what it does to search visibility. Most of the time the answer is nothing and the work proceeds. When it is not nothing, you hear about it before the work starts, not after the traffic moves.
Nothing ships untested. Core, plugin and theme updates run on staging before they touch the live site, with a verified backup and a rollback path ready. The point is not that updates are dangerous, it is that finding out on production is an expensive way to learn which ones are.
We tell you when a request is a bad idea. If a navigation change would strand your best pages, or a new template would drop the schema that earns your rich results, you hear it before the work starts along with a version that achieves the same thing safely. Saying yes to everything is not a service.
You get a record of what changed. Every month you receive what we did, why, and what moved as a result. Six months in, that record is the difference between knowing what caused a change in traffic and guessing at it.
Why us as your website maintenance company
Most maintenance plans are insurance against the site going down. Ours is insurance against the site quietly getting worse, which is the failure that actually costs you money.
What you get
- Reserved monthly capacity, so your work is not waiting behind somebody else's emergency
- Developers who understand canonical signals, crawl budget and structured data, not just the CMS
- Inherited technical debt cleared over time rather than worked around forever
- The same team month after month, so nobody relearns your site every time
What you don't get
- Hourly tracking, or a conversation about scope every time something small comes up
- A dashboard of green ticks that tells you nothing about whether the site is doing better
- Automated updates pushed straight to production because the plugin said so
- Silence between invoices
How website support and maintenance runs
It starts with a look at what you already have. The stack, the plugins, the hosting, the tracking, and whatever has accumulated since the last person left. That first pass usually surfaces a handful of things worth fixing before any routine work begins, and we tell you which of them matter and which can wait.
From there the rhythm takes over. Monitoring runs continuously, updates land on a weekly cycle after staging, and your requests go into the monthly capacity. You send them however suits you, through Slack, email or a shared board, in whatever detail you have.
When something breaks, it moves to the front. A site that is down, a checkout that is failing or a page returning the wrong status code does not wait for a cycle.
Each month closes with a short write up of what changed and what it did. Not a list of plugin version numbers, but the decisions we made and the reasoning behind them, including anything we chose not to do and why.

Highly reliable, works quickly and efficiently. Issues are resolved promptly and the response is very quick. Communication, along with the value and quality of the work, is top-tier.

Maintenance is part of every Developtify plan, alongside development and optimization. Any request goes in, from updates and fixes to new pages and features. Plans differ in how proactively we work on your site and how fast things move, with reserved capacity instead of billed hours.

What site owners usually want settled before starting. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
How much does website maintenance cost?
Maintenance runs on a monthly retainer from $1,200, scaling with the size and complexity of the site. A brochure site sits at the lower end, a busy store with several people sending requests sits higher. We publish our plans rather than making you ask for them.
What is included in website maintenance services?
Continuous monitoring of uptime, SSL, crawl errors and Core Web Vitals, weekly core, plugin and theme updates tested on staging, monthly content, layout and new features and functionality, and regular technical and performance reviews, from monthly health checks to quarterly audits depending on your plan. Everything is checked for search impact before it ships.
How is this different from what my host already does?
A host keeps the server running and usually automates updates. Neither of those catches a template change that drops your structured data, or a navigation edit that strands your best pages. Hosting protects availability, maintenance protects what the site earns.
Do you work on sites you did not build?
Yes, that is most of what we do. The first pass exists precisely to understand a site we have never touched, including one carrying years of decisions from previous developers. We are not going to insist on a rebuild to make our own lives easier.
What happens if something breaks outside the schedule?
It moves to the front. A site that is down, a checkout that is failing or a page returning the wrong status code is not waiting for the next cycle. Reserved capacity means urgent work starts without a new conversation about budget.
Can you handle content updates as well as technical work?
Yes. New pages, edits, layout changes and new features are part of the monthly capacity. Content work is where a lot of quiet damage happens, so it gets the same check as anything else: canonical signals, internal links, metadata and whether the new page competes with one you already have.
Am I locked into a contract?
The retainer runs month to month. Capacity is reserved in advance, so we ask for notice rather than a minimum term, and we would rather you stayed because the work is worth it than because leaving is awkward. If you'd like a lower monthly price, you can commit for 3, 6 or 12 months.
