Who is behind Developtify
I'm Nemanja, and I've been building and maintaining websites for about ten years.
I didn't plan to become a developer. I had a business, I needed a website that worked, and I couldn't find a developer I could rely on. I had some experience with WordPress, so after a few attempts to get the site fixed, I had no choice but to learn how to do it myself.
Somewhere along the way I realized how much I enjoyed it, mostly because the work actually helped people. A website that works properly makes a real difference to the person running the business behind it.
Then I started learning SEO, and it quickly became clear that one can't work without the other.
Why Developtify exists
After years of working with agencies and alongside other developers and SEO specialists, I kept seeing the same pattern, and it was rarely about skill. It was about understanding.
SEO specialists don't need to be developers, but without a few development fundamentals it's hard to know what a change will cost, or what it might break. Developers, on the other hand, usually implemented exactly what they were told. Most didn't know SEO basics, so they couldn't question a request, explain a risk or suggest a better way.
The two sides spoke different languages. Nobody validated the problem or its cause, nothing was planned from the start, and everyone worked with what they already knew and insisted that was the right way. Together, they often created a bigger mess than the one they set out to fix.
A good developer today needs more than code. They need to understand SEO well enough to talk with the rest of the team, ask the right questions and make sure everyone is working toward the same result. That is the kind of developer I wanted to work with, and the kind of development partner Developtify was built to be.
What we want to achieve
The goal is simple: clients should get quality work for their money, without putting their business or their team at risk.
Marketing, SEO and development are all changing fast, and AI is reshaping how people search and how websites are built. That makes this kind of understanding more important, not less. There will always need to be someone on the development side who can make sure all of it works together, and that is what Developtify is here for.
